CNC Global Retains Top Guns in Aggressive Growth Strategy

Company hires R.A. Cohen Consulting to Assist in Mergers and Acquisition Activities

TORONTO, ON — November 16, 2000 — With the speed and accuracy of a stealth bomber, CNC Global is moving into new territory in its bid to become Canada’s premier fully integrated IT and E-commerce Staffing and Solutions firm and a significant player within the North American market.  Fueled by a vision of significant growth over the next three years, the company has retained the services of R.A. Cohen Consulting of Toronto to assist in an aggressive merger and acquisition strategy.

The appointment of Robert Beauchemin last June as CEO of CNC Global has heralded a new era of growth for the highly successful firm.  As always, CNC Global’s mission is to bring together the Human Capital that builds strong organizations.  It comes as no surprise, therefore, that CNC Global has chosen to partner with R.A. Cohen, a firm that specializes in providing a full spectrum of merger and acquisition services to clients who reside mainly within the high-tech staffing sector.

Going forward, R.A. Cohen will advise CNC Global on strategic merger-and-acquisition activities with other technology services businesses throughout Canada and the United States.  R.A. Cohen will also participate in planning, bring prospects to the table who are excited about the opportunities available at CNC Global, and advise on the internal infrastructure that will support the process.

“We have been very impressed by Bob Cohen’s knowledge of ‘who’s who’ in the industry,” said CNC Global CEO Robert Beauchemin.  “His 22 years of experience in the staffing arena prior to his nine years of M&A experience is a great fit for CNC Global.  We are certain that R.A Cohen Consulting will be a catalyst in assisting our growth within the staffing and IT Services sector.”

“R.A. Cohen Consulting is pleased to assist CNC Global in the staff augmentation business in addition to introducing them to new markets, such as wireless and networking,” stated Bob Cohen,  Founder R.A. Cohen Consulting.  “We look forward to creating a precise package for CNC Global that will create excitement for potential M&A prospects.  While we will initially keep our focus in Canada, we are looking to target Canadian-based firms that also function in the U.S.”

Expansion through mergers and acquisitions is one of the four key strategies that CNC Global is deploying as the firm continues to gain a stronghold within the high-tech staffing and solutions market.  While organic growth is a significant part of the overall plan, the company is also aggressively searching out new geographic and vertical markets.  Currently, CNC Global operates eight offices within Canada and four across the United States.  Through mergers and acquisitions, the company is targeting additional Canadian cities to strengthen their national presence here, in addition to focusing on new U.S. territories.  This process will also assist the firm in zeroing in on newer industry sectors, including wireless communications and networking.
